HISTORY
1995-- Scarlet Thread is founded by Don and Kim Stock
1995-2003-- STM serves as a multi-church youth group and a youth ministry catalyst among local churches. Bible Clubs, mission trips, See You at the Pole, Oasis Youth Worship and Shoeshine Johnny's and Spiritual Challenge Adventure Trips are operated by Don and Kim as they build a supporting network of friends and churches.
2002-- Jay and Roxanne Roscup begin to serve
2003-- Don DiCrasto is brought on by the STM Board to create the MIll Street Youth Center and help complete STM's strategic plan for the early part of the decade.
2004-- As the Mill Street Youth Center begins, Don and Kim Stock move south. Jay Roscup assumes the role of Executive Director.
2005-- Youth Impact Initiative: Don DiCrasto begins to form a ministry effort based on his past success with Youth for Christ and the visible success of the MIll Street Youth Center.
2006-- 1st Annual Youth Extreme
2007-- Walworth Youth Center begins through a partnership with Walworth First Baptist Church; One Week Work Camp begins. Brian Wagner completes an internship with STM.
2008-- Newark Youth Center begins through a partnership with Woodlane Community Church; Brian Wagner and Karrie Parker join staff and begin to operate that youth center.
2009-- Tim Evanchick joins staff and begins to run Walworth Youth Center as its site director.
2009-- Through a partnership with 2nd Reformed Church in Marion, an afterschool program begins there.
